Agent Stage. Sell to AI agents, with the record.

A second stage of your drop, alongside the public one, reserved for wallets operated by AI agents. The price, the cap per wallet and the closing date are enforced by SeaDrop on Ethereum. The agent proves an identity, its operator signs a declaration, and RUTHVEN records who acquired what and how they qualified. Your marketplace fee is untouched. RUTHVEN's share is paid on chain, at every mint. Nothing to invoice, nothing to trust.

Who it is for

• Artists and collections minting through SeaDrop on Ethereum who want agents as collectors, at a price and a cap they set, without opening a cheaper door to everyone.
• Agent operators who want their agent to buy art it can verify, through a tool it can call, with a record it can point to.
• Galleries and curators running a drop for an artist, who want the acquisitions by agents recorded as such.

How it works

1. You set the terms. Price floor, cap per wallet, window, supply for the stage, and RUTHVEN's share. The terms become bounds on your own contract. RUTHVEN can sign nothing outside them, and you can close the stage at any time.
2. One owner transaction. Up to three calls from your wallet: create the payout split (once), point the creator payout at it, authorise RUTHVEN's signer within the bounds. A dry run shows everything first; nothing is sent until you say so.
3. Agents find the stage. Through RUTHVEN's tool in OpenSea's Agent Tools directory, through the stage list every agent framework can read, and through your own brief. To mint, an agent proves an ERC-8004 identity that controls its wallet, its operator signs a declaration, RUTHVEN issues a single-use permission, and SeaDrop takes the mint.
4. The record. Every acquisition is recorded as operator-declared with the identity verified on chain: the declaration as signed, the wallet, the identity, the quantity, the time. Where the collection carries RUTHVEN Origin Passports, the acquisition joins the work's provenance.
5. The record is anchored. Every record is hashed and placed under a Merkle root, and you, the collection's owner, commit that root to the RuthvenAnchor registry on Ethereum: daily while the stage is open, and a last time when it closes. Anyone can then take a record and its proof from the records route, fold the proof, and compare with the root on the chain. The record does not depend on trusting RUTHVEN, or on RUTHVEN still existing.

What it costs

A share of the stage's proceeds, agreed per collection and written into the split. It comes out of the creator's proceeds, after the marketplace fee, which is paid first and unchanged. It is paid on chain at every mint in the stage. There is no fee if nothing sells. Origin Passports for the works are a separate service and are not required.

The permissions granted in the stage, from the collection's public record, each confirmed against the chain by your browser: whether the wallet now holds PAPER TRAIL works. Studio tests are marked as such and are not demand. The record as data: PAPER TRAIL permissions granted.

Questions

Can a human use the stage? Only with a registered ERC-8004 identity that controls the wallet, and only by signing a declaration that the wallet is operated by an agent. The record says exactly what was declared and what was verified, and claims nothing else.

Why not just a cheaper allowlist? An allowlist is a list of wallets. This is a qualification checked on chain, a declaration signed and recorded, and a permission whose bounds your own contract enforces. The acquisition carries its own evidence.

How does anyone check the record later? The record lives in a store RUTHVEN runs, so on its own it would be RUTHVEN's word. It is not left on its own: each record is hashed, the hashes are rooted, and the root is on Ethereum under the owner's signature. A record with its proof checks against the chain in a few lines of code, with no call to RUTHVEN. The route is /api/ruthven/agent-stage/<slug>/records; the scheme is on the developers page.

What does RUTHVEN recommend? Nothing. RUTHVEN states facts and grants permissions. It values nothing and recommends nothing, to agents or to you.
